Service Description

Many young people are currently struggling with how they feel; more than ever before. They may be experiencing issues at school, at home, with friends or peers which may present as anger, depressions or anxiety (or a mixture of all three). At this time it is so important they have someone to talk to; sometimes a young person finds it difficult to open up to the people they know. Counselling and other support will give them the opportunity to talk things through in a safe, non-judgemental space. Getting support at this stage in their lives will really make a difference. I appreciate that it might be frightening meeting in a therapy room so I also offer flexibility to meet a young person in their safe place, out on a walk, anywhere that is deemed safe and acceptable (with consent of the parents or carers). Supporting a child also means getting the parents or carers more involved and providing updates to them ensuring confidentiality. This is a vital part of supporting a young person. If you would like to know more please feel free to setup an initial consultation where we can speak over a call / zoom, email or face to face.
